Dealing With Anxiety

It has been said that being anxious is self generated even though the trigger comes from an outside source such as financial difficulties, divorce, separation, death or literally hundreds of other causes that make us anxious of what the future holds. Leaving many of us in a state of anxiousness, worry and fear of the events to come.

Some Physical Symptoms of Anxiety

When you are anxious do you find your heart pounding, your breathing faster and more difficult, your shoulders or neck muscles extremely tight and in a chronic knot? Do you feel light headed, unable to concentrate, nervous, tossing-and-turning at night unable to sleep and do you find it is simply impossible to relax?

Anxiety and Fear is Always About The Future

Being anxious and fearful is always about looking ahead, looking to the future, it is never about looking backwards. We already know the results of the past it is the future that causes us to be anxious and even fearful. Events that you fear and that you are telling yourself they are coming your way. Things that may not actually happen but your mind is already experiencing the negative affect they will have in your life. You are being consumed with worst case scenarios as you attempt to figure out answers to the coming calamity you have imagined.

Think logically of what your mind is doing? Predicting the future as if you had God’s foresight. You are attempting to solve perceived problems in your life that may not even occur. Being anxious can be so consuming and unproductive, which is probably not how you desire to live life.

Can I Break Through?

Can I break through to a different life? The answer in my life was a resounding yes! We each worry and are anxious and yes even fearful at times but it does not have to be that way.
